About Us

Burke Food Equipment, Inc. was  started in June of 2007 .  The owner, J.D. Burke, purchased an existing seven year old BKI distributorship after working for the manufacturer for almost ten years.   J.D. held the positions of Technical Services Manager, Show Manager, Customer Support Manager, and Regional Sales Manager for the southeastern states of the US while at BKI.

 

Although we began with distributing BKI equipment, we have  always carried a full array of  food service products for our customers.  With the addition of Tucker Smith to our company in March of 2008, we have expanded greatly into the convenience store segment of the market.  Tucker uses more than 30 years of experience in the industry to help customers design, construct, equip, and open convenience stores.  We can help you with virtually every piece of equipment in  the store.

We work closely with many “friends” in the industry to provide the customer with architectural designs, construction, custom cabinetry and counters, hood and ventilation systems, walk-in coolers, freezers, and beer caves.  We can help with recommendations of quality chicken programs, pizza programs, and ice cream programs. That can make your operation reach its full profit potential.
